Air Traffic Engineering 2025

The Department of Air Transport Engineering and Teleinformatics of the Faculty of Transport at Warsaw University of Technology, together with the Student Air Transport Research Group, invites you to participate in the International Scientific Conference on Air Traffic Engineering, which will take place on April 8-9, 2025.

The conference is a unique meeting place for prominent representatives of the aviation world, scientists, and practitioners. The aim of the conference is to exchange knowledge, experiences, and achievements between academic and aviation organizations in the field of air transport and its integration with other modes of transport. It is an exceptional opportunity to listen to presentations, lectures, and engage in discussions about innovative transport solutions.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held in lecture hall 0.55 at the Faculty of Transport, Warsaw University of Technology, Koszykowa 75, Warszawa.

The conference will be hybrid, with the possibility to participate online (on the first day of the conference). The first day of the conference will also be streamed on YouTube.

Important Dates

  • January 31, 2025 – Registration with the article title and abstract submission
  • February 14, 2025 – Decision on the acceptance of the submitted topic
  • February 28, 2025 – Deadline for the conference fee payment
  • March 8, 2025 – Deadline for article submission

Conference Language

The official languages of the conference are Polish and English. No translation services are planned.

Publications

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference materials. The full paper (minimum 10 pages) should be submitted after the abstract has been accepted.

Articles (after positive reviews) will be published in the Lecture Notes in Intelligent Transportation and Infrastructure (LNITI) series by Springer, and in the Journal of Transportation Engineering (WJTE) of Warsaw University of Technology.

Each article will undergo an editorial review process. All articles should contain original and previously unpublished research, regardless of the type of scientific work being presented.

Articles must be formatted according to the templates provided on the conference website.

For an article to be published, the following conditions must be met: the abstract and article must be submitted on time, the conference fee must be paid, and the paper must be presented at the conference.
